Description of impact

- To provide reliable and applicable information as well as to develop tools to boost informed and systematic health care decision making with the best scientific evidence available. - Study the determinants of health decision-making. Decision-making may be at micro-level (clinical decision) meso-level (health care management or research) or macro-level (planning and financing of health care or research). Priority research areas are cardiovascular disease, neurological and mental health, and metabolism.
