Research line: Impact

Description of impact

This line of research focuses on the technological aspects of construction. Analytical and numerical modelling are combined with application of experimental techniques. Activities focus mainly on aspects related to the implementation of new construction techniques, new materials, strength of building elements, building renovations, environmental implications and sustainability in construction, recycling of materials, infrastructure and facilities, and organizational methodologies.
