Description of impact

Physically-based illumination is the process of simulating the propagation of light through an environment. Algorithms developed with such purpose provide tools for realistic and visualization analysis. Application examples can be found in realistic rendering image generation, design in generic architectural environments, lighting assessment as well as improvements in constructive projects design through the study and optimization of energy parameters and visual comfort.
