Interstate relations and geopolitics form the framework in which power dynamics, security, and conflict develop on a global scale. This line studies the factors that generate and shape international conflicts, national and international security strategies, as well as the forms and conditions of cooperation between states and other global actors. Furthermore, it analyzes the role of international organizations, global governance systems, and political responses to issues such as terrorism, trade wars, and humanitarian crises.
