Protection of rights of indigenous peoples in federal systems

Research line: Impact

Description of impact

Federalism can offer solutions to protect the rights of indigenous peoples located within a State. This is obviously an issue that is on the agenda in America, but which is not unique to this continent. The study of how federal states are being sensitive to the rights of these communities, and by what means, allows to connect the general theory of rights with the study of the form of the state.
