Description of impact

Preparation of polymer biomaterials for reparation and substitution of alive tissue. This research line is focused in the study of 1) acrylic bone cements modified for total/partial prosthesis fixation and their use as therapeutic element for drug delivery; 2)preparation of polyurethane systems with controlable architecture by means of reaction of diisocyanates (biodegradable and non biodegradable) with polyfunctional branched structures, useful in bone tissue regeneration.
