Operational research: mathematical techniques for the treatment of uncertainty in the economy and business management

Description of impact

The research covers mainly the study of fuzzy logic and its applications in problems related about economics and business management. At the same time we analyze new techniques for classifying objects in a referential set under imprecision and uncertainty and conditions. We also investigate the techniques related on expert systems in economy through the establishment and study of techniques of aggregation of expert opinions. Finally, through the use of simulation and modelling techniques, we work on the establishment of methods for forecasting values of economic variables based on neural networks.
