    Computational Geometry is a branch of Computer Sciences and Mathematics concerned with the design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms and data structures to solve geometric problems efficiently. Computational Geometry is applied to diverse fields such as: Computer Graphics and Imaging, Geographic Information Systems, Facility Location, Spatio and Spatio-Temporal Data Bases, Geometrical Statistics, Shape Reconstruction, Computer Vision and Recognition, Mesh Generation, Robotics, Manufacturing and Product Design and Molecular Biology.
