Development and implementation of multi-criteria decision support systems (EDSS) in the water cycle. Integration of artificial intelligence techniques with modelling and control algorithms in EDSS. Development of control systems for water treatment processes optimisation. Multi-criteria assessment (technical, economical and environmental) and life cycle assessment (LCA). Application of social sciences and humanities to the planning, management and evaluation of complex environmental systems along water cycle.
