Characterization of microorganisms useful in biotechnology and environmental engineering.

Research line: Impact

Description of impact

Research is focused on the study and characterization of microorganisms useful for bioengineering in relation to technology and environmental aplications, particularly in wastewater management and water reuse, bioremediation of soils and waters, electrochemical processes in bioreactors, bioprotection against plant pathogens, and microorganisms involved in sensory deviations of cork products.
