- Systematically and objectively assess a research activity, whether in state planning, in progress or completed, to determine both its quality and its impact on health care - Assess how personal and social factors, processes and organizational structures affect access to services, quality and cost of health care. Priority research areas are cardiovascular disease, neurological and mental health, and metabolism.
