Resum
This paper explores the use of nudges (behavioral incentives) in sustainable urban regeneration. It analyzes how these nudges, when implemented by public entities, help align individual decisions of both citizens and the private sector with sustainable urban planning policies without the need for direct mandates. It proposes a typology of nudges for use in this field and reviews various proposals and case studies on their application in urban regeneration efforts. The study demonstrates that nudges significantly contribute to sustainable urbanism by promoting individual behaviors that align with public policies. This method offers an innovative alternative to more intrusive regulatory interventions, fostering urban regeneration that respects individual autonomy.
